  一、尊重为先,别和“老人”正面冲突

  会倚老卖老的同事,通常是组织里年资够久和经验丰富贡献较大的人,他们思想是独立成熟的,但可能因缺乏领导的特质和视野,而没有获得升迁。一般很爱面子,他们在部门内有一定的号召力但抱怨也很多。

  新人进入公司后可以先观察周边这些老同事的言行,借以了解组织的生态。初来乍到切记不要反驳“老人”的看法,以免四面树敌遭人“暗算”。万一这位爱倚老卖老的同事实在干涉过多,当他的看法与你、甚至与主管相左时,你只要在表面上显示认可、服从的态度即可。因为真正有决定权的人是主管,并不是“老鸟”,你仍然可以做自己认为正确的提案,无须正面与“老鸟”争论。

  二、吸收复制“老鸟”优点

  职场上总是少不了这样两种新人:一种人拥有高学历,头脑聪明反应灵活,夸夸其谈。他们会轻而易举地获取别人的注意,但往往一段时间下来就能发现这种人不够踏实,一遇到困难就躲避,干活也懒,这类人很快就被淘汰了;而另外一种新人,看起来不是非常聪明,但他们很勤奋,遇事虚心向老员工请教,或善于观察、复制老员工的工作经验,很快适应了环境,也发展得最好。

  三、以“无招”胜“有招”

  职场中历来有欺负新人的习惯。每每新人一进来,许多杂事琐事成了他们无法逃避的工作。如果这时新人不懂得适当拒绝的话,着实要吃点苦头的。

  办公室里分进了两个刚毕业的学生小A和小B,小A待人殷勤,总是抢着干各种各样的工作,大家都很高兴遇见这样勤快的一个新同事,慢慢便习惯了将自己的一些琐事交给他去做。可是这高兴只持续到两位新人试用考核那天,小A因为平时太过分心,自己的工作反而没有做好,在考核中输给了与他同来,似乎不怎么勤快的小B。他万分不甘,询问HR原因。HR意味深长地对他说――记住你是做什么的!
