面试中“谦虚”不是美德
面试官接待的应试者有若干名,相同的问题问了若干遍, 类似的回答也要听若干遍。因此,面试官会有乏味、枯燥之感。
只有具有独到的个人见地和个人特点的回答,才会引起对方的兴趣和注意。
案例:
有一位女大学生去一家中外合资公司应聘求职。她通过了一道道关卡,最后只剩下她和另一位男性求职者。
经理是外国人,他在与这两位求职者的闲聊中,极为随便地问了三句活:“会打球吗?”
男的说:“会。”
女的答道:“打得不好。”(其实她在大学校园里是个不错的羽毛球选手)
经理又问:“给你俩一部小轿车,限一星期的时间内,有没有把握学会驾驶这辆小汽车?”
男的说:“有。”
女的说:“不敢保证。”(其实她曾经学过开汽车)
经理再问:“厨房里有的是蔬菜,你俩能不能给我做几样拿手好菜,我这人不挑剔。”
男的说:“没问题。”
而她却腼腆他说:“做得不好。”(其实她的烹调技术不亚于一个三级厨师) 你认为这两位应聘者的答话,哪一位更能受到面试官的欢迎?

这位女大学生默守"谦虚是最大美德"的古训,不敢表白自己的工作能力。如果从更深一层来讲,她的身上郁积着自卑心理,不敢面对机遇、迎接挑战。
在求职过程中,如果招聘人员是从台,港、澳来的,他们或许会理解中国人的谦虚心理。可当招聘者是来自历史文化背景截然相异的西方国家,则可能出现上述类似结果。
如今,中国女性已经呈现出一个崭新面貌,表现自我、肯定自我。崇尚自我的人日益增多。然而,这样的女性毕竟为数尚少。
在求职面谈中,女性要勇敢地破除自卑情绪,展示自我,推销自我,这样才能不致在求职中受挫,并树立一个职业女性的形象。
