英文简历应注意避免的地方：
1、长句：没有人愿意看太冗长的句子，而且切记YRIS(Your re?sume is scanned，notread)原则，雇主只是在扫描您的简历。
2、缩写：因为外行人往往很难看懂。不要想当然地认为这是人所皆知的事情。
3、“I”我：因为正规简历多用点句，以动词开头，是没有“我”的。当然若在公司简介中一定要用到一两次，也不是完全不可以。
4、不利因素：我们讲过简历的原则是不要撒谎，但不写不等于骗人。大家可能还记得前面提到过的“简历中的任何字句都可能成为面试中的话题。”扬长避短的道理，我想大家都是知道的。
5、“Referenceavailable upon request”：这个短语的意思是如需证明，可提供见证人。这在许多英式、港式简历港文中经常出现，但是美式的简历则不要这样写。
